Besides the smartphones, tablets and TVs, Samsung also launched line of smart things as well. Recently, Samsung is adding a camera, a Wi-Fi smart plug and a smart bulb to its range of SmartThings devices. The indoor camera has not only full HD and HDR capabilities but, it has a 145-degree view to be able to monitor a wider part of your home than other cameras. It also has object detection, which Samsung says can differentiate between people and the motion of pets or a passing vehicle.
In addition to a SmartThings app redesign that launched with the S10 line of mobile phones. So, the SmartThings is adding new smart home products.

It seems that Samsung is expanding the range of its SmartThings line of connected smart home gadgets. The new SmartThings Cam is $89.99, while there is $17.99 SmartThings Wifi Smart Plug, and $9.99 SmartThings Smart Bulb. The new products work within the SmartThings ecosystem and are available in US.
So, for all these smart things, user doesn’t need to use hub. The smart camera has the ability to differentiate between people, pets and objects allows you to customize the notifications you want to get through the SmartThings app.
In addition, it has two-way audio system, which enables the user to talk to a housemate or your pets through the app even when you’re not home. Just plug it in and connect it to your home WiFi like other smart security cameras.
On the other hand, Samsung’s new SmartThings Wi-Fi Smart Plug can turn lamps, small appliances and other electronic devices smart. It allows you the ability to switch them on or off, use a timer on them and set a schedule for them. The plug also turns them into voice-activated devices that work with Bixby, Google Assistant and Amazon Alex.
Besides that, Samsung’s new SmartThings Bulb is also well-matched with those voice assistants, allowing you to control it with your voice.
